Part-Time Emergency Department Nurse

Role Overview This position provides direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Responsibilities include promoting patient- and family-centered care, educating patients on managing their health, and participating in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Developing, implementing, and documenting individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients, while addressing physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs. Utilizes critical nursing skills to evaluate patient conditions and needs across diverse populations. This is a safety-sensitive role requiring constant alertness and adherence to safety protocols. Qualifications & Skills Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Licenses: RN license essential. Experience: No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred. Additional: Ability to work various shifts including day, evening, or night.
