Part-Time EKG Technician

About the Role

The EKG CMA performs EKG testing, processes results through the MUSE database, and enters orders in the EMR. Under RN supervision, assists with patient examinations, measures vital signs, prepares treatment rooms, and supports a patient-centered care approach.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited medical assisting program (preferred)
• EKG experience (preferred)
• Certification from a recognized agency (e.g., AMT, AAMA, NHA, MedCA, NAHP, or NCCT)
• Physical ability to perform various movements and lift up to 50 lbs
• Maintain visual and auditory acuity
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations
• Adaptability to rotating shifts and overtime
• Commitment to teamwork and quality patient care
