Qualifications
- An Educational Assistant Certificate or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
- Experience working directly with young children (Grades 1-3 preferred)
- Experience and understanding of foundational literacy and numeracy concepts (e.g. phonics, phonological awareness, early number sense)
Skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with teachers and district office Program Coordinators
- A strong desire to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Ability to work independently.
- The ability to work independently, manage small groups effectively, and follow structured intervention plans.
- A high level of commitment, accountability, and reliability.
Application Requirements

Pay
$22.59 to $28.02 per hour (dependent on experience and education in accordance with the collective agreement between the CUPE Local 4839 and the Peace River School Division).
