Part Time Driver
About the Role
TerraBella Senior Living is looking for a Driver to join our community Gardens of Gainesville. Responsibilities
- Provide timely and courteous transportation for residents to and from various activities while delivering quality service.
- Assist disabled passengers into and out of the vehicle.
- Secure passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trips.
- Safely operate radio, cell phone, or pager to communicate with base station or other vehicles to report disruptions in service.
- Maintain all community vehicles in good working condition.
- Clean and service vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
- Assist with vehicle registration and license plate renewal process.
- Inspect and document vehicle condition on a monthly and per-trip basis.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Current commercial driver’s license (CDL) may be required with an acceptable driving record in accordance with Federal Department of Transportation regulations.
- Experience in a customer service environment, preferably in a senior living setting.
- Knowledgeable of all safety precautions and compliance with safety measures.
- Competent in organization, time management, and handling multiple priorities.
