Part-Time Donor Door Greeter

About the role

We are looking for a hard-working and dedicated Retail Associate – Donor Door Greeter to join our team in Phenix City. This part-time position averages 20–25 hours per week, with hours fluctuating based on business needs such as seasonal changes and donation volumes. You will be cross-trained and expected to learn and work all areas of the retail operation.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors quickly and efficiently with excellent customer service.
• Receive donated goods from donors by unloading vehicles and carrying donated items.
• Provide receipts to donors and maintain accurate donation records using a hand-held device.
• Organize donations into bins to assist with accurate processing.
• Perform general housekeeping duties and keep the work area neat and clean.
• Assist truck drivers when loading and unloading donations.
• Work other areas of the store as requested by the leadership team.

Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), required; OR enrolled in high school or GED program.
• Basic math skills.
• Prior experience working in a retail or customer service-related environment, required.
• 1 year of cash handling experience, preferred.
• Warehouse experience, preferred.
