Part-Time Donor Door Greeter

About the role

The Newnan retail store, located on Bullsboro Dr. in Newnan GA, is currently seeking a Retail Associate – Donor Door Greeter. This position involves welcoming and greeting donors, safely taking in donations, providing receipts, maintaining accurate records, organizing donations, performing housekeeping, and assisting with truck loading/unloading. The position also includes cross-training to cover all areas of the retail operation.

Responsibilities

• Greets donors quickly and efficiently with excellent customer service.
• Receives donated goods from donors by unloading vehicles and carrying in donated items.
• Provides receipts to donors and maintains accurate donation records using a hand-held device.
• Organizes donations into bins as they are brought in to assist with accurate processing.
• Performs general housekeeping duties and keeps the work area neat and clean.
• Affords assistance to truck drivers when loading and unloading donations.
• Works other areas of the store as requested by the leadership team.

Requirements

• Average math skills.
• Ability to use a hand-held electronic device.
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
• Prior experience working in a retail or customer service-related environment; preferred.
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Warehouse experience, preferred.

Qualifications

A part-time position is 20-25 hours per week. Hours will fluctuate based on business needs and store location. The Retail Associate – Donor Door Greeter must be available to work any shifts Monday through Sunday.
