Part-Time Donation Services Associate - Iliff Store

About the role

The position greets customers and accepts donations in a courteous and efficient manner. It involves working outside in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and answer product questions as needed.
• Assist customers by unloading donations from vehicles or other areas.
• Handle donated items with care and decide on their sorting.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean environment for both customers and employees.
• Manage remote donation centers, ensuring they are well-stocked and reporting on donation levels.
• Contact for a truck when the donation warehouse or trailer becomes full.
• Follow retail center and donation center policies and procedures.
• Help drivers load and unload donations onto trucks when necessary.
• Ensure a safe working environment for employees and customers.
• Cross-train in other departments as required.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• One year of retail experience is preferred.
• Must be able to make decisions based on Goodwill standards and guidelines.
• Basic computer skills to order supplies and communicate via email.
• Able to work in various weather conditions with varying temperatures.
• Able to lift heavy objects using safety equipment.
• Effective communication skills, including reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Able to work flexible schedules, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
