Part Time - Dining Room Server

About the Role

Provide high-quality meal service and create a gracious environment by accurately taking and relaying orders, and delivering exceptional customer service to residents. Assist with special functions and maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation standards in the dining area. Manage bistro areas, ensure proper food presentation, and handle supplies and beverages. Learn residents' dietary preferences and needs, serve food at appropriate temperatures, and reset tables after meals.

Responsibilities

• Accurately take and relay food and beverage orders
• Deliver exceptional customer service to residents
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation standards in the dining area
• Manage bistro areas and ensure proper food presentation
• Handle supplies and beverages efficiently
• Learn and accommodate residents' dietary preferences and needs
• Serve food at appropriate temperatures
• Reset tables after meals
• Participate in quality assurance activities
• Attend training sessions as required
• Follow all safety and health regulations, including ADA, OSHA, and infection control guidelines

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in healthcare dietary services or restaurants preferred but not required
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Knowledge of ADA, health, infection control, and OSHA regulations
