Part-Time Dietitian
About the role
The Registered Dietitian is a vital member of the leadership and clinical teams in a residential treatment program for adolescents with eating disorders. They collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver HAES-informed nutritional care that emphasizes body positivity, satiety, and behavior-focused approaches rather than weight-centric methods. The role involves overseeing meal preparation, ensuring nutritional standards and regulations are met, conducting client assessments, and monitoring nutrition intake. They participate in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to support clients' recovery and growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage and document all nutritional services and meal preparations
- Ensure compliance with standards and regulations
- Conduct nutrition assessments and monitor client progress
- Contribute to treatment planning and multidisciplinary collaboration
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field; Master's preferred
- Registered Dietitian credential
- At least one year of healthcare or psychiatric experience, internship preferred
- CPR/BLS certification (obtained before start)
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Passion for client care and recovery
