About the role
We are seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals in a long-term care facility. The role involves positive interaction with residents and staff, following instructions, and working as part of a team in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation
- Serve residents according to dietary needs
- Clean and sanitize kitchen and dining areas
- Ensure food safety compliance
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior food service experience preferred but not required
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, push/pull 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and perform repetitive tasks
- Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification
- Residency within the service area
