Duties
- Assists in preparation of meals and snacks
- Clean up of dining areas
- Aid in receiving, rotating and storing of supplies and food
- Helps to clean work areas
- Washes dishes, pans and utensils
- Ensures food storage and work areas are clean and safe
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and supplies
- Reports violations of safety or sanitation rules to supervisor
Qualifications
- Ability to walk, bend, lift, push, pull, turn, stoop and stretch
- Ability to unload and stock groceries on shelves of various heights and to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to write and record data, read and follow instructions in English
- Ability to remain calm and work efficiently in cases of emergency
- Ability to communicate professionally with residents, staff, and family members
