Part-Time Dialysis Licensed Practical Nurse

About the role

This position involves providing patient care and operational support within a healthcare setting, under the supervision of a Charge Nurse, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and policies.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently utilize supplies and staff labor hours.
• Assist with billing log preparation and updates.
• Perform assigned duties to meet patient care and operational needs.
• Obtain blood samples for laboratory analysis as per physician orders.
• Review and document patient medication profiles monthly.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, activities, and communications in patient records.
• Report significant patient condition changes and equipment issues.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and continuing education.

Qualifications

• Current LVN/LPN license in applicable state, maintained in good standing.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to distinguish all primary colors.
• Previous dialysis experience preferred.
• Completion of approved USRC training program within 8 weeks.
• Proficiency in English communication and basic computer skills, with all clinical applications mastered within 90 days.
• Ability to organize tasks effectively and work within regulatory practice requirements.
