About the role
Abundant Life Towers I and 2 are currently seeking a reliable and customer-focused Part-Time Front Desk Attendant to join their team. This position plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for residents and guests during non-business hours.
Responsibilities
- Acts as first point of contact for residents and visitors, allowing them into the building
- Affords assistance to guests with signing in and out of the building when visiting, including verifying identification
- Creates and fosters a welcoming environment for all residents and guests
- Interacts with residents developing a quick understanding of their needs and actions required to promote positive response
- Answers telephone and responds to routine inquiries; Directs calls as appropriate
- Maintains detailed log of the events in the building, service calls, concerns for the office, and/or resident activities
- Takes emergency after-hour service calls and contacts maintenance staff to ensure residents’ concerns are addressed
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of building entrance, common areas, and desk area
- Provides back up as needed to other team members, including occasional tours of the premises
- Provides a safe environment by walking floors for any violations, unusual behavior, or hazards
- Models the Company’s Core Values for clients and other associates
- Performs other duties as assigned, within reason and relevance to the job
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months of customer service experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills
- Professional, calm, and attentive demeanor at all times
Qualifications
- Ability to work effectively in teams as well as independently
- Ability to manage priorities and multi-task
- Ability to engage others and cultivate positive relationships
