About the role

Abundant Life Towers I and 2 are currently seeking a reliable and customer-focused Part-Time Front Desk Attendant to join their team. This position plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for residents and guests during non-business hours.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as first point of contact for residents and visitors, allowing them into the building
  • Affords assistance to guests with signing in and out of the building when visiting, including verifying identification
  • Creates and fosters a welcoming environment for all residents and guests
  • Interacts with residents developing a quick understanding of their needs and actions required to promote positive response
  • Answers telephone and responds to routine inquiries; Directs calls as appropriate
  • Maintains detailed log of the events in the building, service calls, concerns for the office, and/or resident activities
  • Takes emergency after-hour service calls and contacts maintenance staff to ensure residents’ concerns are addressed
  • Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of building entrance, common areas, and desk area
  • Provides back up as needed to other team members, including occasional tours of the premises
  • Provides a safe environment by walking floors for any violations, unusual behavior, or hazards
  • Models the Company’s Core Values for clients and other associates
  • Performs other duties as assigned, within reason and relevance to the job

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 months of customer service experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills
  • Professional, calm, and attentive demeanor at all times

Qualifications

  • Ability to work effectively in teams as well as independently
  • Ability to manage priorities and multi-task
  • Ability to engage others and cultivate positive relationships
  • Excellent communication skills required
