Part-Time Dental Hygienist

About the role

As a vital member of the dental team, you will deliver exceptional patient care by performing professional cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth, and taking, developing, and processing dental x-rays accurately. You will document oral health evaluations to support diagnosis and treatment planning, educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care, and reinforce treatment plans provided by Dentists. Your role includes fostering a positive, comfortable experience for patients of all ages, demonstrating attention to detail, and promoting lifelong dental health.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental cleanings and x-ray procedures
• Document oral health assessments
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive measures
• Support Dentist’s treatment plans and patient comfort

Requirements

• Oklahoma Dental Hygiene license (required)
• Accelerated hygiene experience a plus
• Familiarity with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) is advantageous
