About the Role
A Dental Hygienist provides preventive dental care, patient education, and maintains clinical procedures within a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, patient screenings, and medical history documentation.
- Utilize digital x-rays, scanners, and other dental technology.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Maintain clinical autonomy with mentorship access.
- Support patient education and promote oral health maintenance.
Requirements
- Current dental hygienist license in VA.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene.
- Knowledge of dental procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation.
- CPR certification required.
- Ability to perform physical duties, including lifting and prolonged sitting or standing.
