Part-Time Deli Manager

Role Overview: Lead daily department operations in a retail store, ensuring staff are trained, fully staffed, and operating according to company standards to meet key performance indicators. Key Responsibilities Manage inventory ordering, maintenance, and product quality using inventory control procedures.Review received orders for accuracy and store appropriately.Supervise team tasks including stocking, production, and quality assurance, ensuring compliance with safety and food safety guidelines.Maintain product knowledge, promote sales features, and execute weekly flight plans.Oversee scheduling, labor control, overtime, and payroll expenses.Develop department goals, forecasts, and monitor performance metrics.Ensure the department is clean, attractive, and well-stocked, and that safety and food safety standards are consistently followed.Lead staffing, training, performance management, and career development of associates.Participate in meetings and communicate company policies and plans effectively. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent required; retail experience and supervisory background preferred.Strong communication, organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.Effective leadership with hands-on approach and strategic planning abilities.Knowledge of retail operations, management systems, and proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.Depending on location, bilingual in Spanish highly desirable. Physical and Additional Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30-50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform in varied environmental conditions.
