About the role
Provide excellent guest service through deli department activities.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests politely and interact friendly
- Prepare products for sale by frying, cutting, slicing, weighing, and pricing
- Maintain product quality, freshness, and stock levels
- Ensure sanitation standards in all prep, cooler, freezer, and sales areas
- Communicate guest requests and temperature issues to management
- Keep supply areas clean and organized
- Perform front porch duties, announce specials, and assist with product receiving and storage
- Complete other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication and guest service skills
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally
- Ability to read, understand, and follow directions
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Capable of bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
