Part-Time Deli & Bakery Manager

Role Overview: Lead daily department operations in a retail store, ensuring staff training, proper staffing, and adherence to company standards to meet operational goals and KPIs. Manage inventory ordering and maintenance, ensuring product freshness and quality.Review received orders for accuracy, quality, and condition; oversee storage compliance.Supervise team activities including stocking, production, and quality control, ensuring proper rotation and handling of spoiled products.Maintain product knowledge and ensure adherence to sales promotions and programs.Communicate and execute weekly plans, manage scheduling, labor, and payroll efficiently.Implement company policies, work schedules, and safety standards, including food safety and store safety protocols.Lead staffing, training, performance management, and career development of department associates.Develop department goals, forecasts, and participate in meetings at various levels.Ensure a clean, attractive, and well-stocked department, maintaining high standards and compliance. Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or GED required; retail experience and supervisory skills preferred. Strong communication, organization, leadership, strategic planning, and knowledge of retail systems are essential. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and bilingual abilities (depending on location) are advantageous. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally, stand and walk for extended periods, and operate in varied environments.
