Part-Time Deli/Bakery Associate

About the role

This position involves preparing, packaging, and displaying bakery and deli products to contribute to store profitability and enhance guest experience. It requires working independently to meet production and merchandising standards while adhering to safety and food safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce bakery and deli items according to plan.
• Package, label, and merchandise products to company standards.
• Stock backroom with fresh, rotated products, and communicate supply needs.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to support store growth.
• Follow safety, food safety, cleanliness, and guest experience protocols.
• Perform tasks in other departments as needed.
• Additional duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least one year of retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, interpret documents, and perform basic math.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform bending, stooping, and twisting. The environment involves varied temperatures and moderate noise levels.
