Part Time - Dairy Department Assistant

About the role

Assist in managing the Dairy and Frozen departments to enhance the customer shopping experience by providing a wide selection of refrigerated and frozen products.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly and attentive customer service while supporting the Dairy/Frozen Manager in daily operations.
• Supervise team members to meet sales, profit, and shrink goals.
• Handle ordering, receiving, storage, and merchandising of products.
• Maintain proper shelf conditions and stock levels.
• Assist with employee training, development, and scheduling.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-5 years of retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication, basic computer skills, and ability to operate equipment such as pallet jacks and marking guns.
• Friendly, courteous, and able to perform basic math, read, and write.

Work Environment

Store environment includes freezer (-20F to 0F) and office temperatures (65F to 75F).
