Job Responsibilities
- Efficiently process the following type of transactions per bank procedures: checking and savings deposits, check cashing, savings withdrawals, processing loan payments.
- The sale of cashier’s checks, money orders, and convenience cards.
- Aid with night depository, vault duties and scanning as assigned.
- Maintain accuracy of transactions and verify accuracy by balancing the cash drawer daily.
- Identify fraudulent activity to help prevent potential loss for the bank.
- Maintain logs and records related to responsibilities with accuracy and accountability.
Job Qualifications/Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic math skills and strong customer service.
- Cash handling experience/previous CSR/Teller experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer relation skills required.
- Excellent keyboarding, calculator and personal computer skills required.
- Organizational skills and the ability to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a professional manner.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- High level of accuracy with attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
