Part-Time Culinary Experience Assistant

About the role

Taste Buds Kitchen is seeking individuals who enjoy working with people, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are passionate about culinary entertainment. This role offers a flexible schedule, training and development opportunities, and the chance to work with various events including kids' cooking classes, summer and holiday camps, birthday parties, family cooking experiences, adult BYOB cooking classes, corporate team building events, and private celebrations.

Responsibilities

• Aid instructors during cooking classes, camps, parties, and special events
• Welcome and engage guests of all ages
• Help prepare ingredients and cooking stations
• Set up classrooms before events
• Clean and reset kitchens after events
• Wash dishes and maintain kitchen cleanliness
• Assist children and guests as needed during activities
• Help create a positive, energetic atmosphere
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards

Qualifications

• No prior experience required
• Must be at least 16 years old
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, school holidays, and camp weeks
• Reliable transportation

Pay
