About the role

Provides computed tomography (CT) and diagnostic imaging in accordance with standards and organizational policies. Collaborates with radiologists and physicians to ensure quality patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews patient history and educates patients on procedures.
  • Analyzes imaging results and ensures quality.
  • Prepares and administers contrast media and medications within scope.
  • Performs Point of Care Testing (POCT), laboratory testing, EKGs, vital assessments, and routine patient care tasks.
  • Selects optimal imaging parameters to balance image quality and radiation safety.
  • Monitors patient condition and responds to changes promptly.
  • Resolves imaging quality issues and reports results accurately.
  • Ensures appropriate patient preparation and performs diagnostic imaging.
  • Supports patient safety and comfort while working collaboratively with medical staff.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
  • Registered or registry-eligible in CT with ARRT.
  • Valid state licensure if required.
  • BLS certification through recognized organizations.
  • Critical thinking and decisive judgment.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
