About the role

A CT Technologist responsible for performing advanced imaging procedures in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

  • Review patient history and initiate/execute CT scans based on physician orders
  • Administer contrast media safely and monitor patient conditions
  • Ensure image quality and equipment functionality
  • Perform 3-D post-processing as needed
  • Demonstrate proficiency by precepting new staff
  • Contribute to patient safety and quality care
  • Provide top-of-scope imaging services and educate patients
  • Respond to patient needs and maintain safety standards
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
  • ARRT registered or registry eligible in CT with completion within 12 months
  • Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
  • Current BLS certification
  • Strong attention to detail, patient communication, and technical skills
