About the role
A CT Technologist responsible for performing advanced imaging procedures in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Review patient history and initiate/execute CT scans based on physician orders
- Administer contrast media safely and monitor patient conditions
- Ensure image quality and equipment functionality
- Perform 3-D post-processing as needed
- Demonstrate proficiency by precepting new staff
- Contribute to patient safety and quality care
- Provide top-of-scope imaging services and educate patients
- Respond to patient needs and maintain safety standards
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- ARRT registered or registry eligible in CT with completion within 12 months
- Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
- Current BLS certification
- Strong attention to detail, patient communication, and technical skills
