About the role
Perform various imaging procedures, including CT and X-Rays, with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment such as X-Ray, CT, CR reader, and PACS.
- Assist healthcare staff by providing technical support and patient care.
- Conduct imaging exams following policies, procedures, and regulations, notifying physicians of results.
- Perform basic clinical procedures under medical supervision.
- Maintain documentation, logs, and records in paper and electronic formats.
- Collect laboratory samples, perform lab testing, and ensure quality control.
- Carry out routine equipment maintenance and quality assessments.
- Retain analytic records for a minimum of two years.
- Support quality assurance activities and proficiency testing.
- Perform duties as an ER Technician when needed.
- Travel to multiple facility locations and participate in meetings.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; graduation from an AMA-approved Radiology Technology program.
- Registration as a radiologic technologist (ARRT) required; CT certification preferred.
- Current BLS certification.
- 2+ years of radiologic/imaging experience; 1+ years of CT and ER experience preferred.
- Proficiency with imaging hardware, software, and PACS; fluency in English.
