About the role
A Part-Time Courier is needed to support customers and branch operations by ensuring the secure, accurate, and timely transportation of documents, checks, and other banking-related items.
Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver items to customers across multiple regions
- Transport materials between Mercantile Bank branch locations
- Operate in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, bank policies, and procedures
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Complete all required training
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as needed to support the Bank's evolving business needs
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. when necessary
- Must have a reliable vehicle
- Mileage is reimbursed
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle in all weather conditions
