Part-Time Counter Person/Driver (Berkeley Springs WV)

About the Role

We’re a locally owned and operated NAPA Auto Parts store looking for someone who loves to work independently, enjoys driving safely, and thrives on face-to-face customer engagement. This is a fast-moving environment where no two days are the same, and you’ll have the chance to build lasting relationships with customers while being part of a supportive, family-like team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parts to customers while building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Assist inside the store between deliveries, including serving customers at the counter.
• Pick up parts from vendors and ensure accurate stocking of inventory.
• Maintain and check inventory levels in the stock room.
• Prioritize safety while driving and delivering parts.
• Serve as a NAPA Brand Ambassador, representing the company positively during customer interactions.
• Build long-term relationships with customers through consistent and reliable service.
• Maintain the store delivery truck by following safety checklists, keeping the vehicle clean, and performing basic maintenance (e.g., checking tire pressure).

Requirements

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Ability to bend to floor-level shelves and reach upper shelves (up to eight feet) using a stool or ladder.
• Stamina to stand and walk for the entire work shift and lift up to 60 lbs. of merchandise.
• Ability to handle cash, charge transactions, and core/part returns accurately.
• Responsibility for inspecting, protecting, and maintaining company assets, merchandise, vehicles, building, and people.
• Clear speaking and attentive listening skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
