Part-Time Cook

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, storage areas and walk-in coolers.
• Prepare meals as identified by the menu plan and for the special needs inmate population.
• Maintain records of kitchen operations.
• Aid Lead Cook in ordering food service supplies from vendors. Maintain adequate supply levels.

OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Three or more years experience in food service
• Preference for experience in quantity food service for large groups

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to lift mild to moderate loads, up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, while preparing food.
