Responsibilities

  • Affirms all dietary procedures are followed.
  • Maintains safety and effectiveness in operating all kitchen equipment.
  • Establishes food production line to ensure timely meal preparation.
  • Projects the community positively and proudly during interactions with potential residents and families.
  • Cook nutritious meals with high-quality presentation and flavorful dishes for residents.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Culinary Arts training preferred.
  • Two years of dietary experience.
  • Knowledge of dietary procedures, relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Leadership skills and ability to work harmoniously with and supervise staff.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Primarily a standing position, may require prolonged standing.
