Part-Time Consumer Banker I (Wilmington)

About the role

The Consumer Banker position at First Financial Bank involves working with existing and potential clients to deepen client relationships. Key responsibilities include opening accounts, performing account maintenance, supporting client engagement through active calling and follow-up, and providing digital assistance.

Responsibilities

• Perform necessary functions to open and maintain accounts.
• Run a Teller drawer as needed by management.
• Support client engagement through active calling, client conversations, and follow-up.
• Maintain all operational and risk management standards.
• Collaborate with internal constituencies to provide appropriate expertise to clients.
• Ensure timely client follow-up calls.
• Model the way for peers and coworkers aligned with First Financial's Mission and Values.
• Adhere to all compliance and regulatory procedures.
• Participate in First Financial Bank Experience activities.
• Meet or exceed sales, service, and referral goals.
• Provide digital assistance and support for clients using the bank’s online offerings.
• Stay informed and updated on all bank products, processes, and procedures.

Requirements

• 2-3 years client service experience in a retail environment.
• 2-3 years sales and service experience with success in achieving sales and service goals.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• An associate’s degree and/or equivalent work experience in sales is preferred.
• Strong sales skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Associate’s degree and/or equivalent work experience in sales is preferred.
