Part Time Computer Technician

The City of Midwest City is currently accepting applications for a Part Time Computer Technician in the IT Department.

About the role

• Performs functions related to computer system support including computer hardware and software installation, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Facilitates the needs of all city employees by completing requests submitted through the IT work request system.
• Assigned projects or to a project team.

Responsibilities

• High school graduate with A+ certification or equivalent experience required.
• Previous experience is highly desirable.
• Software skills required: basic 10-Key, Alphanumeric Data Entry, Presentation/PowerPoint, Spreadsheet, Word Processing/Typing.
• Must possess a valid Oklahoma driver license and be insurable.

Requirements

• Technical associate's degree or bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
• This position is designated as safety/security sensitive and is subject to pre-employment, reasonable suspicion and random drug and alcohol screening.
