Part-Time Community Manager
About the role
TREK Development Group is seeking a Part-Time Community Manager for our Sisters of St Joseph property. The Community Manager will oversee the financial, physical, and operational aspects of the community, promote the Hospitality Covenant, and manage the on-site team.
Responsibilities
- Act as the driving force of the Hospitality Covenant and lead the team by modeling, inspiring, and holding staff and residents accountable.
- Supervise and direct the on-site team, fostering a collaborative environment and optimizing team performance.
- Coordinate property upkeep, including inspections, maintenance, and janitorial tasks.
- Manage the work order system to ensure timely completion of priority tasks.
- Develop positive relationships with residents through networking and resident-led initiatives.
- Monitor and manage the monthly budget, ensuring compliance with program guidelines.
- Handle legal proceedings for non-payment of rent, including court filings and follow-ups.
- Implement annual rent increases and maintain occupancy levels.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and fair housing laws.
- Update and adhere to an energy conservation plan and maintain incident reporting.
- Manage resident and vendor files according to company and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- College degree in a related field or 5+ years of progressive career path in Property Management, Hotel, Hospitality, or Retail.
- 3+ years of experience in Property Management, Hotel, Hospitality, or Retail.
- Experience managing tax credit properties and meeting the needs of low-income residents.
- Industry designations (COS, LIHTC, ARM®, CPMC®, etc.) preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and RealPage or similar software experience.
- Real Estate License preferred, or required within the first year of employment.
- Clearances and background checks required.
Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to achieve certification within 6 months of hiring.
- Physical demands include moving up to 50 pounds, working in outdoor weather conditions, and frequent travel.

Schedule
