Part-Time Co-Teacher

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the lead teacher to implement a curriculum that promotes learning and social-emotional development.
• Auxiliary in planning and conducting daily activities, including circle time, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and other classroom routines.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
• Safeguard children's safety at all times.
• Build strong, communicative relationships with families to support children’s growth and success.
• Assist the lead teacher with assessments, observations, and documentation as needed.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED.
• CDA certification or relevant coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Experience working with children in a childcare, preschool, or school setting.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Patient, flexible, and passionate about working with children.
• The ability to meet the physical demands of working with young children (e.g., bending, lifting, sitting on the floor).

Hours

Part-time, with flexible shifts during morning or afternoon hours (exact schedule based on availability).
