About the role
We are seeking a passionate and creative teacher to join our team in Hartford, CT on a part-time basis for the 2026-27 school year.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver daily lesson plans
- Provide individualized assistance to students
- Regularly communicate about student progress as needed
- Maintain accurate attendance and session reports
- Monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success
- Work in a fast-paced behavioral health facility
- Teach in a small classroom setting to child and adolescent school-age patients
Qualifications
- B.A/B.S. degree from an accredited institution
- Connecticut state teaching license
- Comfortable working with K-12th graders
- Strong organizational skills
- Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs
- Reliable Transportation
