Responsibilities

• Care Giver:
• Responsible for a group of residents during shifts; checks on them regularly.
• Observes and documents changes in residents' conditions.
• Notifies supervisors of increased care needs.
• Maintains cleanliness and hygiene in resident rooms and work areas.
• Assists with daily living activities and engages residents in activities.
• Greets and assists visitors and team members.
• Does resident laundry as assigned.
• Medication Tech:
• Reviews service plans and assists with medications and treatments.
• Documents and initials medication passes.
• Maintains confidentiality and reports concerns to supervisors.
• Restocks medication carts and counts narcotics.
• Participates in service plan development and takes vital signs.
• Reports occupational exposures immediately.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Certified Nurse's Aid certification.
• Required: High School diploma or GED, 18 years old.
• Preferred: CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Preferred: Previous experience with seniors.
