CNA/CMA - Part Time

About the Role

As a CNA/CMA at WesleyLife, you will assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and passing medications. You will provide emotional support and companionship, fostering a positive and engaging environment, and conduct routine health monitoring such as checking vital signs and administering medications. Additionally, you will facilitate resident participation in recreational and therapeutic activities, ensure a clean and safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols, and communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care.

Schedule

Open shifts available:

• 1st shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) Part-Time
• 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM) Part-Time

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• An active CNA license in the state of Iowa; CMA preferred but not required
• Prior experience in long-term care (LTC) preferred but not required
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Pay

Starting pay rate based on years of experience with a shift differential of up to $4.00 per hour.
