Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene
- Monitor residents throughout the night and promptly report any changes in condition to the licensed nurse
- Auxiliary residents with repositioning, transfers, and mobility while following proper safety procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation of resident care provided
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
- Provide compassionate emotional support while treating all residents with dignity and respect
- Follow individualized care plans, facility policies, and infection control procedures
Requirements
- Active California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
- Current CPR certification preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, compassionate, and team-oriented
- Ability to work independently while providing exceptional resident care
