Part-Time Clinical Research Coordinator
Job Description and Position Requirements
Dr. Kristina Petersen’s lab in the Department of Nutritional Sciences is seeking a part-time Clinical Research Coordinator to support externally funded clinical trials investigating dietary interventions and risk factors for heart disease and diabetes. This role will involve study coordination for clinical trials being conducted in the lab. Tasks will include coordinating participant recruitment, conducting telephone and clinic screenings, coordinating data collection visits, visit scheduling, managing participant flow through the trials, and research-related administrative tasks.
Requirements
- Prior experience in human subjects research is required.
- Prior experience in clinical trial coordination is highly desired.
- Training will be provided for the specific tasks this position requires.
Qualifications
- Reliable, proactive, task-oriented, attentive to detail, and possesses excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
Benefits
This position involves approximately 20 hours per week of work with typical working hours being Monday to Friday from 6:45 am to 10:45 am. This is an in-person job in State College, Pennsylvania.
