Role Overview
Seeking a motivated pharmacist to join a supportive healthcare team, providing exceptional pharmaceutical care and clinical services to diverse patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, initiate, and modify medication therapy based on patient condition and age.
- Ensure accurate medication preparation, dispensing, and resolve medication-related issues.
- Supervise support staff, including technicians, interns, and volunteers, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Serve as a medication therapy resource, providing drug information, staff training, and patient care transitions.
- Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness and document all activities and communications.
- Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and safety in medication use processes.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy; Doctorate preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience; supervisory experience not required.
- Licensed in Medication Therapy Services in MO, with RPh certification.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and leadership skills.
