Part-Time Clinical Pharmacist

Role Overview

Seeking a motivated pharmacist to collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, providing exceptional pharmaceutical care and clinical services to diverse patients. The role involves supervising workflow, managing medication therapy, and ensuring accurate medication preparation, dispensing, and safety. Assess, monitor, initiate, and modify medication use based on patient conditions and age-specific criteria.

Key Duties

• Manage pharmacy workflow and oversee staff to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Supervise technicians, interns, and volunteers, ensuring compliance with procedures and regulations
• Serve as a medication therapy resource, providing drug information, staff training, and supporting transitions of care
• Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness and document activities appropriately
• Participate in departmental meetings and committees
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and safety within medication use processes
• Promote safety, efficiency, and best practices in medication management

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required; Doctorate preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience; supervision experience not mandatory
• Licensed as a Pharmacist in MO
• Experience in Medication Therapy Services preferred
