About the role

You will mentor nursing students in inpatient clinical settings, connecting classroom learning to real-world patient care. The role emphasizes service excellence, care, and professional growth in a supportive educational environment.

Responsibilities

  • Implement curriculum and plan clinical experiences for students.
  • Supervise and evaluate nursing students in clinical settings.
  • Provide feedback to students and ensure adherence to clinical policies.
  • Teach didactic content under supervision when required.
  • Contribute to program development and evaluation.
  • Maintain current knowledge in nursing practice and serve as a role model.

Requirements

  • Master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing.
  • Active RN license in Hawaii; Illinois RN license required for teaching all courses.
  • At least two years of recent nursing experience.
  • BLS certification.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates are clinical experts with solid experience, strong relationship skills, professionalism, and the ability to collaborate effectively.

Schedule

Flexible scheduling based on course needs, with clinical shifts typically spanning 3-4 consecutive 12-hour days.

Pay

Compensation ranges from approximately $1,120 to $7,245 per assignment.
