About the Role
Provides direct patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment, supporting trauma, orthopedics, plastics, and reconstructive surgeries.
Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within nursing standards.
- Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication use.
- Develop and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients.
- Ensure communication across the care continuum and participate in safety, quality, and regulatory activities.
- Utilize critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.
Requirements
- RN license required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- No prior experience necessary.
- Exceptional critical thinking and judgment skills required.
- Safety-sensitive role demanding alertness and safe work practices.
