Part-Time Clinical Nurse

About the Role

Provides direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing activities.

Responsibilities

• Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, home care, and medication use.
• Participate in ensuring patient safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural aspects.
• Maintain safety by working in a constant state of alertness, adhering to safety-sensitive protocols.

Requirements

• RN license required.
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree in Nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• No prior experience required; less than two years experience preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient education skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
