Part Time Clinical Nurse

Role Overview Provides direct nursing care on a 43-bed Med/Surg unit, focusing on patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment needs, and medication use. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to develop and communicate individualized care plans, ensuring safety and quality compliance. Uses critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and cultural considerations. Maintains safety awareness as this is a safety-sensitive position. Qualifications & Skills Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree required; Bachelor’s preferredRN license requiredNo prior experience necessary; less than 2 years preferred for higher educationStrong communication, critical thinking, and patient advocacy skillsCommitment to professional development and collaborative teamwork
