Part Time - Clinical Nurse

About the role

This position involves providing direct patient care in a hospital setting within the General Medicine unit. Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while promoting a healing environment.

Responsibilities

• Educating patients and families on managing illnesses
• Ensuring safety and quality standards
• Developing individualized care plans
• Communicating effectively across care teams
• Evaluating physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations
• Maintaining alertness and safe work practices (safety‑sensitive role)

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree
• RN licensure
• Preference for a BSN
• At least two years of experience
• Demonstrated professionalism, collaboration, and commitment to patient‑centered care
