About the role

Perform and interpret laboratory tests to support diagnosis and treatment, ensuring accuracy, quality control, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare specimens for analysis
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
  • Perform phlebotomy
  • Analyze quality control data
  • Troubleshoot instruments and document results
  • Adhere to safety, accreditation, and compliance standards
  • Support performance improvement and inventory management
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare teams
  • Adapt procedures to meet patient needs

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Current licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (Generalist or Specialist)
  • ASCP certification
  • Must meet CLIA and CAP standards
