About the role
Perform and interpret laboratory tests to support diagnosis and treatment, ensuring accuracy, quality control, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Prepare specimens for analysis
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
- Perform phlebotomy
- Analyze quality control data
- Troubleshoot instruments and document results
- Adhere to safety, accreditation, and compliance standards
- Support performance improvement and inventory management
- Communicate effectively with healthcare teams
- Adapt procedures to meet patient needs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Current licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (Generalist or Specialist)
- ASCP certification
- Must meet CLIA and CAP standards
