Part Time Clinical Dietitian

About the role

Clinical Dietitian responsible for providing medical nutrition therapy as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nutrition assessments, develop diagnoses, and create individualized nutrition care plans based on best practices and patient needs.
• Implement and monitor nutrition interventions, evaluate outcomes, and adjust plans accordingly.
• Provide nutrition education to patients, families, and healthcare team members on topics like diets, supplements, and community resources.
• Manage nutrition care delivery, including enteral nutrition support and transitional feeding plans.
• Apply evidence-based research, participate in quality improvement, and contribute to ongoing professional development.
• Mentor dietetic interns and ensure compliance with professional and regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition/dietetics and completion of ACEND-accredited supervised practice.
• Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (RD/RDN) certification and Georgia licensure within six months of hire.
• One to two years of clinical experience preferred, with proficiency in electronic medical records and foodservice software.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
