About the Role

A Clinical Dietitian provides medical nutrition therapy as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct nutrition assessments, develop and implement personalized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients, families, and healthcare staff on nutrition interventions.
  • Manage enteral nutrition support and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Apply evidence-based practices and stay updated with current research.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Mentor dietetic interns and maintain professional development.
  • Contribute to research activities.
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop nutrition care plans tailored to patient needs.
  • Provide nutrition education to patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Manage nutrition support, including enteral feeding regimens.
  • Contribute to research, quality improvement, and performance evaluation activities.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in nutrition/dietetics.
  • Completion of an accredited supervised practice program.
  • Registration as a Dietitian/Nutritionist (RD/RDN).
  • State licensure mandatory within six months.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Preferred: 1-2 years of clinical practice.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong understanding of nutrition care standards and documentation practices.
