Part-Time Clerk / Treasurer (Charity / Fundraising) – Remote or Hybrid

About the role

We are seeking a trustworthy and detail-oriented individual to manage basic financial tracking for a halal charity fundraising initiative.

Key Requirements

• Record buyer name for each contribution
• Process top-ups and cash-outs as needed
• Collect and file proof of payment (screenshots, receipts, or transfer confirmations)
• Enter basic information into the Tracker and Transaction Report Form

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills (filling out spreadsheets/online forms)
• Proficiency in Excel spreadsheets and basic formulas (graphs, pivot charts, calculations, currency conversions, Forex)
• Honest and reliable (handles small funds with integrity)
• Familiarity with halal charity values (preferred but not required)
• Very good level of spoken and written English, any additional foreign language would be a distinctive advantage (i.e. French, Arabic, Turkish)
• No accounting degree, financial certifications, or prior finance experience mandatory
