Part-Time Cleaning Technician (Janitor)- Aurora

About the Role

City Wide Jani Inc. is looking for reliable candidates to fulfill part-time custodian positions for medical facilities in Aurora, Illinois.

Schedule

Shifts vary between 6:00pm & 8:00pm, Monday through Friday, with some weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to OSHA and maximum safety procedures.
• Empty trash from all receptacles.
• Clean and sterilize restrooms and exam rooms.
• Clean kitchen/breakroom.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors and carpets.
• Dust windowsills, air vents, and other areas.
• Sterilize all high-use areas to reduce the spread of bacteria and harmful agents.
• Maintain the grounds surrounding the property.
• Secure building upon completion and set alarm.
• Inspect equipment and communicate the need for repairs or replacements to Operations Manager.
• Perform other duties as delegated by Supervisor.

Requirements

• Availability after 6:00 PM.
• Custodial experience preferred; 1–2 years required.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling greater than 50 lbs.
• Ability to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risk and exposure to hazardous chemicals.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.
• Vehicle required (but not mandatory).

Pay

$16.00 per hour.
